DC’s villains are some of the most powerful, battling against the greatest heroes in comics. However, as formidable as they are, some of the most powerful and dangerous would fall to Captain Marvel.

Deathstroke may not be the most powerful villain, but he can defeat the most titanic heroes. His greatest weapon is his brain, and it’s allowed him to take it to the Justice League and Teen Titans all on his own. However, it helps that he knows his foes; this gives him the knowledge he needs to beat them. He’s not going to have that advantage over Captain Marvel, and it’s doubtful it would matter if he did.

Deathstroke is smart — but so is Captain Marvel. She’s just as well-trained and experienced as he is, and she’s also more powerful. He may be able to make a dent in her defense, but that doesn’t mean he has a chance against her.

In fact, being powered by Kryptonite is a massive weakness for Metallo in this fight. Captain Marvel can drain energy from her opponents and she could easily drain away the Kryptonite power that makes him go. With that gone, all of his powers won’t work, and she can take him out easily.

Reverse Flash is one of DC’s deadliest villains. Powered by the Negative Speed Force, he’s a force to be reckoned with for any hero slower than him, which is the vast majority of them. His power makes him dangerous at all times and his ability to travel through time means that even when he’s dead, he can show up again. He’d do some damage to Captain Marvel, but she’d still win.

Captain Marvel’s energy-siphoning abilities are the key here. She’s very fast on her own, so that would help her, but it’s not going to win the fight against Reverse Flash. Her energy-siphoning powers will; the Negative Speed Force is an energy, which means that Captain Marvel can take it and use it against him.

The Batman Who Laughs did so much damage because he knew what he was dealing with. He’s not going to know anything about Captain Marvel, which would make all the difference. Without that knowledge, he would be easy pickings for the Captain.

4 Amazo’s Plethora Of Powers Would Only Fuel Captain Marvel

Amazo is one of the Justice League’s most dangerous foes. The android has the ability to copy the powers of everyone he faces, giving him access to an amazing amount of powers. His only problem is he’s limited by his programming, as he’s not the best thinker. That’s going to make a lot of difference against Captain Marvel.

To begin with, Captain Marvel can drain any of Amazo’s energy if she needs to, cutting down what he can do. He may be able to copy her powers, but he has no idea how to use them. Captain Marvel is good at out-thinking her foes, using their advantages against them. Because of that, Amazo has no chance against her.

3 Lex Luthor Would Challenge Captain Marvel, But She’d Get The Best Of Him

Lex Luthor is Superman’s greatest enemy. He contends with the Man of Steel because of his amazing intellect, allowing him to create weapons and technologies that take advantage of his foe’s weaknesses. He’s an all-around dangerous foe as well, able to figure out a way to contend with any hero. On top of that, his armor gives him the ability to mix it up with the strongest. Captain Marvel would know she was in a fight, but she’d win.

Given time, Lex could figure out a plan against Captain Marvel, but it would almost certainly fail. She’s crafty and experienced, with powers that are difficult to top. Lex would do some damage, but it wouldn’t be enough.

2 Brainiac Would Underestimate Captain Marvel

Brainiac is one of the smartest beings in the DC Universe. On top of that, the Coluan is a powerhouse, able to fight it out with Superman and damage the Kryptonian. He has access to amazing technology and is feared across the cosmos. His biggest problem is his ego, which is why Captain Marvel would beat him.

Brainiac has Captain Marvel beat in a lot of ways, but he always overestimates his own abilities compared to those he fights. This would be Brainiac’s fatal mistake when fighting Captain Marvel. She’s known for taking down enemies who have her dead to rights, and she’d teach Brainiac humility.

1 Captain Marvel Would Make Zod Kneel

General Zod is one of Superman’s strongest foes. The Kryptonian general has all the powers of the Man of Steel and military experience to boot. He’s a fierce combatant with the kind of frightening power to defeat most opponents. He would definitely be a challenge for Captain Marvel, but she has the power to take him.

Zod has Captain Marvel beat in every way, but her energy-siphoning powers would make all the difference in this scenario. She can drain the yellow sunlight energy from Zod’s cells, leaving him weaker and weaker. Without his powers, it’s a much easier fight for her and Zod wouldn’t have a chance.
