90 Day Fiancé Ariela Gets Honest About Her Wedding Plans With Biniyam

Star of 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way Ariela Weinberg spilled that she’s not a fan of weddings during an Instagram Live she did without Biniyam Shibre. While all the couples on the 90 Day Fiancé spin-off’s finale, including Jenny Slatten and Sumit Singh and Steven Johnston and Amira, got married, Ariela and Biniyam went separate ways. Biniyam was shown leaving for Ethiopia for his visa interview and Ariela stayed back in Kenya, confessing that she didn’t know what the future held for them. Since TLC viewers had questions about Ariela and Biniyam after episode 14, baby Avi’s mom decided to be honest about weddings and why she doesn’t like them.

Getting his K-1 visa approved is extremely important for Biniyam because he feels that without it, Ariela would dump him and head straight for America with his kid. But Ariela had made up her mind too that she doesn’t want to face Biniyam’s Ethiopian family and friends. Moreover, it would also remind Ariela of how Biniyam disrespected her feelings by allegedly cheating on her when she was in the U.S. for Aviel’s surgery. But in case Biniyam does get his visa, it being a K-1 would mean Ariela getting married to Biniyam within three months since they were engaged during the 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way season 2 finale.

During her Instagram session with her fans, Ariela discussed the 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way finale when she was asked her thoughts about weddings. “Can I be totally honest here? I don’t like weddings. I never enjoy them,” Ariela declared. According to Ariela, she did see the beautiful weddings on the show but she thinks she wouldn’t enjoy them as “that’s not my personality.” As a kid, freelance travel writer Ariela apparently never dreamed of dressing up in a bridal outfit. While she did hope to meet someone and be best friends with them and love each other, “wearing a white dress and flowers and all that stuff” never excited Ari.

“Don’t kill the flowers, just put them in a nice pot, you know,” Ariela asked her 90 Day Fiancé followers as she added that she’s “not a fan” of weddings. When asked if a beach wedding is something that she would like, Ariela admitted, “I’ll take the beach, I won’t take the wedding.” Meanwhile, Ariela shared that she gets that one wants a legal piece of paper and that when one loves someone they want to celebrate it, but “wanting to celebrate that with like 500 other people, 50 other people, or even five other people? I don’t know,” Ariela mentioned. Someone wanted to know if she thinks this way because she was married to her ex-husband Leandro Fosque before Ariela met Biniyam.

“No, it’s not because I was married before. When I got married before both me and Leandro, we were kinda grossed out with the idea of getting married,” was Ariela’s reply. “We did it purely because we wanted to continue living together in the U.S.,” said Ariela who was married to Leandro for 10 years before she finally divorced him when she became pregnant with Biniyam’s baby. Although Biniyam was nowhere to be seen in Ariela’s life, it’s safe to say that they’re still together due to regular fan sightings or the 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way Tell-All previews. However, Biniyam is a fan of big weddings and Ariela had previously shared that she’d like something smaller and intimate. “So I don’t know how we’re gonna work that one out,” Ariela had revealed. Ariela and Biniyam’s opposing views on weddings could be what forms their storyline for the next 90 Day Fiancé spin-off they’ll feature in.
