Ariela Weinberg and Deavan Clegg are 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way stars who are disliked by plenty of viewers, but getting dragged isn’t all that they have in common. Viewers first met Deavan when she appeared in 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way season 1. She moved to South Korea to be with Jihoon Lee, whom she’d met on a dating app. The Utah local also starred in The Other Way season 2, and so did franchise newcomer, Ariela.
Ariela met her partner Biniyam Shibre while she was traveling through Ethiopia. Recently, the couple has been in the spotlight due to Ariela’s accusations that Biniyam cheated on her while she was back in the U.S. She’d been in America for two months with their son Aviel, so the baby could have hernia surgery. Many 90 Day Fiancé fans believe that Biniyam cheated, although exactly what happened hasn’t been made clear yet on the show.
Famous The Other Way star Ariela has a personality that’s similar to Deavan’s, as well as a storyline that parallels that of Jihoon’s controversial ex-wife. Some of the things the women have in common are obvious, but others don’t stand out quite as much. Now, it’s time to showcase all of the reasons why these women have common ground.
Ariela & Deavan Rushed Into Their Relationships
The fact that these 90DF cast members moved quickly in their relationships isn’t anything new, as a lot of the franchise’s stars do that. However, some 90DF stars make the move to other countries because they want to be close to their love interests. When it comes to Ariela and Deavan, the fact that both were pregnant may have prompted them to make international moves. Deavan, who had one three-year-old daughter Drascilla, flew back to the U.S. to give birth to her son with Jihoon, Taeyang, towards the end of 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way season 1. Ariela gave birth to Aviel in Ethiopia at the beginning of 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way season 2.
Deavan & Ariela Both Got Help From Their Moms
Perhaps the most random similarity between the two reality stars is the fact that both of their mothers came with them when they moved to their new countries to be with their partners. Deavan’s mother Elicia Clegg accompanied her to South Korea, and Ariela’s mother Janice went with her daughter to Ethiopia. Both moms had concerns about whether their daughters would have safe and pleasant homes after they left America, and neither mother was sure her daughter’s partner was prepared for the change in lifestyle.
Deavan & Ariela Had Issues With Their Living Conditions
When Deavan and Elicia first arrived in South Korea with Drascilla, Deavan was unhappy with the house that Jihoon had chosen for his new family. Similarly, Ariela and Janice were concerned when they saw the dwelling Biniyam had found for himself and Ariela. Janice made a comment about how her daughter didn’t work so hard in America to end up living in the type of residence that Biniyam had found. Deavan and Ariela felt that their partners were unprepared for their arrivals, and their moms agreed.
Both Women Threatened To Go Back To America
Biniyam has a son from a previous relationship, whom he was no longer able to see because his partner took the child back to her home country, America. Throughout 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way season 3, Biniyam was concerned that Ariela would take Aviel back to the U.S. She eventually did, but only to get the child a hernia operation. Ariela and Avi ended up staying in the U.S. for two months. While they were gone, Biniyam would turn off his phone for hours and spend most nights out with his friends. These actions made Ari decide to fly to Kenya, rather than go back to Ethiopia.
The most recent episode of 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way season 3 showed Biniyam meeting Ari and Janice so that Ari and Biniyam could try to rekindle their relationship. In Deavan’s case, she took Taeyang back to the U.S. because Jihoon lied about the amount of debt that he was in. He’d promised her a better standard of living than he could deliver.
They Both Accused Their Partners Of Cheating
Ariela and Deavan both accused their partners of infidelity. Viewers didn’t see any evidence of this unfaithfulness onscreen, but things aren’t looking too good for Biniyam, especially since his sister Wish told Ariela he cheated while she was in the U.S. 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way viewers have noticed that Ariela and Deavan seem alike because both have dishonest partners. The women may be reacting in the same ways because their partners are pushing the same buttons. Hopefully, both women make smart choices about their relationships from now on.
