All Boss Locations In Genshin Impact

Bosses are one of the best ways to farm rare materials and experience in Genshin Impact, but it can be a little tricky to find all eight of the game’s bosses. Each boss has its own loot table, so killing a random one of Genshin Impacts bosses may not warrant players items they need. It also costs 40 – 60 Original Resin to collect the rewards after a boss battle, so players won’t want to waste those precious materials on a boss that won’t give them the items they need.

This guide will focus on the location of each of the eight bosses on Genshin Impact’s massive map. It will also focus on when players can fight each boss, and what items each boss has the chance to drop. These are important facts for players who wish to farm rare materials to ascend their characters and weapons but don’t wish to waste Original Resin on items they don’t need or waste time on pointless boss battles.

The map above shows seven of the eight boss locations that are marked on the map after the player hits adventure rank 20, however, some of them can be fought prior to hitting said rank. At the start of Genshin Impact, before the world level is increased, each boss will start at level 36 which will scale upwards with the world level.

There are three different elemental Hypostasis which are floating cubes surrounding a crystal of energy. While they all share the same appearance, each has its own unique attack patterns and animations. The Anemo Hypostasis is located near the north-east corner of the map on Stormbearer Mountain and can be found floating in the middle of a circular platform. The Electro Hypostasis is located on Galesong Hill near Cape Oath and is also found on a circular platform. The Geo Hypostasis is located on an island in the Guyun Stone Forrest east of the Sea of Clouds. Each boss will drop special elemental character ascension items, and the rewards for each boss will cost 40 resin to collect. These bosses respawn a few minutes after they are defeated.

There are also two Regisivine bosses which are plant-like creatures that harness different elements. The Cryo Regisvine is an ice-type plant that can be found in Starfell Valley south of the coliseum ruins. He is located in an underground cavern. The Pyro Regisvine can be found inside of Cuijue Slope in the western regions of Liyue. Both bosses will drop elemental ascension items which will cost 40 Original Resin to collect.

Rhodeia of Loch, or Oceanid of Qingce, is the waterbird boss located north of Bishui Plains and east of Qingce Village. The boss has to be activated via a large platform floating on a lake inside of a canyon. Oceanid is tougher than other bosses, but will only cost 40 Original Resin to collect its rewards. It can be summoned once again a few minutes after it is defeated.
