Avatar: The Last Airbender has long been an inspiration to fans and creators alike. The show has seen numerous pieces of fan art and tributes over the years, and now, one creator has taken it to the ultimate level.

Artist Jacob E. Mann has posted a 3D recreation of the series’ opening sequence on Twitter. “This was such a blast!! We remade the in Avatar: The Last Airbender opening in 3D!” he wrote. The opening boasts a style similar to the original show, but with title character Aang in place of the other benders.

Mann also posted another sequence, which recreates a scene where Aang asks Zuko if they could have been friends in another lifetime. The scene was already heartwrenching enough, but Mann and his team have found a new way to make it pop.

Created by Dante Michael DiMartino and Bryan Koneitzko, Avatar: The Last Airbender centers on Aang’s journey to stop the tyrannical Fire Nation from conquering the world. The show led to spinoff series The Legend of Korra, as well as a live-action film in 2010 from M. Night Shyamalan. A live-action remake is currently in the works at Netflix, with DiMartino and Koneitzko attached as producers.
