Bachelor Madison Prewett Would Only Return To Franchise For ‘Godly Men’

The Bachelor alum Madison Prewett is only returning to the franchise for “Godly men.” Madison joined Bachelor Nation by competing on Peter Weber’s season, where she quit when it was down to her and Hannah Ann Sluss. Peter proposed to Hannah Ann but ended things with her before the After the Final Rose special. While Madison and Peter seemed to want to give their relationship another try, the real issue was with Peter’s mother, Barbara Weber. Madison, who’s religious and saving herself for marriage, told Peter that she was uncomfortable with him going into the fantasy suite with the other contestants. Barb didn’t think it was fair of Madison to give Peter this ultimatum, but Madison stood her ground and stuck to her values. Peter and Madison’s relationship didn’t last long after ATFR, and they broke up shortly after.

Madison recently wrote a book called Made For This Moment: Standing Firm With Strength, Grace, and Courage. It’s partly autobiographical and covers her time on Peter’s season of The Bachelor, and is also a self-help book. While the book will go into her life before she joined the franchise, it will also detail the long breakup conversation that happened between her and Peter. She also writes about how the biblical story of Esther can help people prepare for singular moments in their lives. Madison’s book is now available through multiple retailers.

Madison opened up about what it would take to get her back in The Bachelor franchise. “Listen, it would take a whole lot of Godly men for me to turn my head and be like, ‘Oh, OK!'” Madison told Page Six. She also said that going back on the show isn’t a priority for her, even if it was as Bachelorette, and she would have “to feel pretty confident” and like “God was leading” her towards it. Madison felt like God called her to go on season 24, and she’s happy to have helped people who watched her on Peter’s season. “Coming off the show, I had thousands of people reaching out and sharing, ‘I was so afraid to stay true to myself, so afraid to share my faith, so afraid to save myself for marriage because of what other people thought. But you gave me that kind of courage and that push that I needed.'”

Madison has also been able to help people through her debut book. “I’ve had a couple different girls share that they decided to start following God, which is really cool,” Madison said. She also shared that her book helped someone through their depression and suicidal thoughts. “That was my whole heart in writing this book, for other people to know that they were made for this moment and that they have purpose.” Even though things didn’t work out with Madison and Peter, it’s nice to see her happy and still connecting with her followers.

Although Madison may never return to The Bachelor franchise, fans can still read all about her experiences in her book. Just because Madison and Peter’s relationship didn’t work out, it doesn’t mean Madison can’t find someone else on the show if she ever does decide to return. As long as some of the contestants share the same values as her this time around.
