Every member of the Batfamily has their own personality and skills they bring to the table as heroes. Let’s look at their personalities and zodiac.

For a guy that hates working with people, Batman has a lot of wards, partners, and allies in his fight against the criminals of Gotham. You can’t blame the guy, he definitely can’t do it on his own and the elite members of the Batfamily each have their own role and skillset that makes them a good partner for the Bat.

Each member of the Bat-family has somehow won their way into Batman’s trust and work closely with him on a nightly basis. Although they were similar uniforms, each member has their own unique quality. Let’s look at each Bat member’s zodiac.

12 Dick Grayson/Nightwing/Robin 1 – Leo

As the first Robin and leader of the Teen Titans, Dick Grayson knows how to handle pressure and high-stress situations. He is the complete opposite of Batman, he’s charismatic, optimistic, and very outgoing. He is more than happy taking other Robins under his wing to learn, making him the perfect candidate to lead a team of teenage superheroes.

He makes people gravitate towards him and he has the respect of all the other members of the Bat-family, including those with high expectations like Bruce and Damian. He’s also a catch, having romantic relationships with several women in the DC universe, from Harley Quinn to Star Fire.

11 Barbara Gordon/Batgirl 1/Oracle – Libra

Arguably one of the most famous Bat-family characters behind Dick Grayson and Alfred, Barbara came unto the scene and instantly became an icon for females in pop culture. She’s a Jane of all trades, a master martial artist, a skilled computer hacker, and an expert detective.

Even after her disability, she was able to use her skills to help the Bat-family. As a Libra, Barbara is level-headed and calm under pressure, but don’t get her mad because she will hold a grudge for the rest of her life.

10 Jason Todd/Redhood/Robin 2 – Scorpio

As the second kid to take on the Robin mantle Jason was nothing like his predecessor. He was violent, insubordinate, and he had a knack for brutally beating bad guys. Jason played by his own rules and often defied Batman’s orders and even got himself killed biting off more than he could chew.

After his return after years of being “dead”, he comes back more ruthless than ever, resorting to killing and even almost ending the Joker’s life. Out of all the members of the Bat-family, Jason is the closest to an anti-hero. He has all the Scorpio qualities from his impulsiveness to his fiery attitude.

9 Alfred Pennyworth – Pisces

Alfred is the glue that holds the family together. As the oldest member and only one that never dressed up or worked under Bruce, he’s the father figure and the emotional support for the team. We know Bruce would never be the one to patiently heal wounds or support a team of teenagers emotionally so Alfred takes on that role.

He’s neutral to the entire family, no matter how demented or stoic a member may be, they all have respect for Alfred due to his caring nature, selflessness, and compassion. He’s intuitive, often pointing out feelings and encouraging others.

8 Tim Drake/Red Robin/Robin 3 – Aries

Out of all the Robins, Tim is arguably the most underrated. Practically auditioning for the role, Tim was the only Robin to take pride in his role and his natural detective abilities have even impressed Bruce and Ras Al Ghul.

He’s determined, loyal, and ambitious to be the best hero he can be, making him a great sidekick and a true Aries.

7 Kate Kane/Batwoman – Capricorn

Besides the similar costume, Batwoman is in every way the female version of Batman. She’s stoic, serious, and fiercely independent. Her military background and training have made her rough around the edges and have turned her stone cold.

She learns from her mistakes and although she’s uncomfortable working with others, she makes a good leader and worthy of taking over for Batman following his disappearance. Like a true Capricorn, she’s private and very hard to read.

6 Cassandra Cain/Batgirl 2 – Virgo

Cassandra Cain is basically the female version of Jason Todd, she came from a tough upbringing and was mad at the world until Bruce took her under his wing. She will never admit it but she considers Batman a parental figure and has a passionate love for her Bat-family despite her never showing it.

She’s a true Virgo, quiet, shy, and hard to read, but with a heart of gold and a secret passion for being heard and loved. She may be the black sheep of the Bat-family but she is still a crucial member.

5 Damian Wayne/Robin 5 – Taurus

Damian had a rough start to his comic history. As an entitled and spoiled brat, he got on the nerves of readers and fellow Bat-family members alike and he thankfully grew on us.

Damian is a little bit of every Robin combined when it comes to skills, but he’s really as unique as they come. He’s stubborn, hotheaded, but loyal to his friends and family. He may seem like a brat, but he has a big heart and love for those who love him.

4 Stephanie Brown/Robin 4/Batgirl 3 – Sagittarius

Stephanie Brown had a short-lived stint on the family before being kicked out for constantly disobeying Batman and his rules. Like most of the other members, Stephanie has had a rough upbringing which has made her aggressive and insubordinate.

She displays a lot of Sagittarius qualities, like her disregard for the rules, her sense of always being right, and her love for where teammates. Although she never really got along with Batman, she still stayed loyal to Tim Drake and her team.

3 Luke Fox/Batwing – Cancer

Luke Fox wanted to be the furthest thing from a hero, choosing to live a humble life, much like a true Cancer. He’s skilled in several martial arts and has a military and technology-based background.

Pretty much the combination of Iron Man and Batman, he has gadgets and tech on his side and he’s creative about how he uses each gadget. He’s loyal to his father and will do anything to protect his family, making him a good ally to the Batfam.

2 Claire Grover/Gotham Girl – Aquarius

As the only superpowered member of the Bat-family, Gotham Girl was influenced by Batman and her brother to fight crime for the city they love. She has a hard time with the death of her brother and Batman helps her get through her tough time.

She may have betrayed Batman at one point, but she was always determined and eager to learn crimefighting. Her indecisiveness and lack of coping skills make her a true Aquarius.

1 Selina Kyle/Catwoman – Gemini

As the closest thing to a love interest for Batman, Selina Kyle is a character with a complex arc. She started off as a villain and eventually became an anti-hero who helped the Bat-family…when she felt like it.

Unlike most of the members of the Batfam, she has never been a sidekick or ward to Bruce but a romantic lover and thorn on his side. What makes her a true Gemini is her constant boredom and constant search for thrills. She’s always fighting with her emotions, even leaving Bruce at the altar and going between being a thief and a hero.
