Dancing With The Stars contestant Kenya Moore assumed the judges would send her home during Disney Week after they saved her last time. The October 12 episode of DWTS, which had a “Disney Villains Night” theme, ended with a double elimination that shocked everyone including Kenya Moore, who managed to escape eviction for the second week running. Tuesday night’s show began with DWTS host Tyra Banks announcing there would be a double elimination at the very end. The quality of the performances on the night was impressive as each dance pair did their best to wow the judges, audience and viewers. At the end of the performances, three contestants and their dancing partners were ranked at the bottom. These included Beverly Hill, 90210 alum Brian Austin Green and his pro partner and girlfriend, Sharna Burgess; The Bachelor alum Matt James and his pro partner, Lindsay Arnold; and The Real Housewives of Atlanta star Kenya Moore and her pro partner, Brandon Armstrong.

Kenya and Brandon had a combined score of 59 out of 80 after Monday’s “Disney Heroes Night” and Tuesday night’s episode. Meanwhile, Matt and Lindsay finished with 57 out of 80 points, while Brian and Sharna had the lowest score with 52 out of 80. The elimination was nail-biting and intense. Brian and Sharna were the first to be evicted after placing bottom and having the least amount of votes. This meant the judges could save only one of either Matt or Kenya. The judges could not make a unanimous decision, leaving head judge Len Goodman with the final say. Len saved Kenya and Brandon and eliminated Matt and Lindsay. Once she was saved, Kenya fell to her knees and cried tears of joy as she lived to dance another week on the show.

In the aftermath of her narrow escape, Kenya reflected on the happenings of Tuesday night. She spoke to HollywoodLife and other reporters after her elimination and said she thought the judges would send her packing after saving her last week. The reality television star said, “In my experience of watching the show for the last 16 years or 30 seasons…I don’t know if they save people more than once, so I just figured we’re going to go home, and if we end up in the bottom again, they can’t save me again. So I just figured that they would send me home.” Kenya also said she respects Len so much and added that she couldn’t be happier to be dancing another week. Kenya couldn’t speak with Matt after the elimination, but Brian spoke to her.

Kenya described Brian as a great guy and revealed he said encouraging words to her. Brian told Kenya not to allow anyone to make her feel like she is not being herself. He also told her that people can finally see who she really is and advised her to forget about things in the past. Kenya said she appreciates Brian’s words to her. On Tuesday’s “Disney Villains Night,” Kenya and Brandon danced the Viennese waltz to Ariana Grande’s hit song “Dangerous Woman.” The RHOA star shared a video of her and Brandon’s performance on her Instagram page on Wednesday and praised her pro dance partner. Kenya wrote, “#DWTS @brandonarmstrong killed this. He gave everything that was needed. Sensual, passionate, aggressive and elegant. It’s the LIFE for me!”

After surviving another tense elimination, Kenya and Brandon will now be focused on next week’s episode of Dancing With The Stars, which will be Grease Week. Kenya will be buoyed by her performance on Tuesday night, which judge Carrie Ann Inaba described as her best dance yet. However, Kenya must also be on top of her game next week to avoid being among the bottom two for the third week running. The judges can’t save her all the time, so she needs to wow everyone with her performances from now on to stand a chance of progressing further in the competition. Kenya has thrilled her fans with her performances so far and has enjoyed the experience of competing in DWTS. Whatever happens going forward, she will always look back on her time on the show with fond memories.

Dancing With The Stars airs Mondays at 8pm on ABC.
