The OVA Goblin’s Slayer – Goblin’s Crown, which was released in Japanese cinemas in February, is coming to Crunchyroll this month.

Goblin Slayer is back for more monstrous action.

Crunchyroll has released a trailer for Goblin Slayer – Goblin’s Crown, as well as an English-language release date for the film.

Goblin’s Crown, a special episode of the Goblin Slayer anime series, was first released theatrically in Japan on February 1. The film will have its digital premiere on the streaming service on July 28.

The synopsis for the movie can be found below:

“Please find any information on the Noble Fencer that disappeared after leaving to slay some goblins.”

Goblin Slayer and his party head up to the snowy mountains in the north after receiving that request from the Sword Maiden. A small village gets attacked, they encounter a mysterious chapel, and something about how these goblins are acting bothers the Goblin slayer.

“I’m going to take back everything that I’ve lost!”

In order to save the captured Noble Fencer, the Goblin Slayer and his party head to an ancient fortress covered in snow to face off with a powerful foe and a horde of goblins!

Based on the light novel series of the same name by Kumo Kagyu and Noboru Kannatsuki, Goblin Slayer follows the titular adventurer in his quest to rid a dark fantasy world of goblins. The novel series, first published in 2016, has spawned three manga adaptations and CD audios dramas, as well as a 12-episode anime series that aired in the winter of 2018.
