How to Unlock Desktop Backgrounds in Doki Doki Literature Club Plus

Doki Doki Literature Club Plus includes a new gallery and desktop. By completing side tasks, players can customize the virtual machine.

Doki Doki Literature Club Plus has just released with all sorts of new secrets. The fan base has been very eager for more official content, though many have also modded the game themselves. While Team Salvato had updated the original game in the past, this remastered version has even more to offer.

The new version of the game uses the Metaverse desktop. Players can customize the background with over a hundred wallpapers. Some are available by default, while many more require completing certain story routes in the DDLC application and different side objectives.

The unusual black and white DDLC start screen can be seen by quitting the DDLC application during Act 2 and restarting until it appears.
