Kim revealed in October her brand of shape wear, lingerie and lounge clothing would be teaming up with luxury brand Fendi for an epic collaboration. Viewers have seen the Kardashian-Jenner squad rock designer labels such as Fendi for years and fans were more than excited to get their hands on pieces from the elevated-casual line.

Kim recently opened up about her success as a businesswoman with not only her brand Skims, but also her cosmetics line KKW Beauty. Both ventures have proven to be lucrative for Kim; Skims was recently valued at over $1 billion. It’s rumored that Kim may take over for her mother Kris Jenner, who manages the Kar-Jenner stars, when the matriarch is ready to pass the torch. Though it’s uncertain if Kim will be assuming the managing role anytime soon, Kim’s latest success with Skims solidifies her status as an innovative business mogul.

Kim’s Skims x Fendi collaboration raked in a steep profit immediately after launching Nov. 9. The latest Skims launch brought in a whopping $1 million in one minute after going live for customers Tuesday, TMZ reports. The outlet states most of the items from Skims’ collaboration with Fendi are basically sold out. The immediate success of the release is allegedly putting the Skims x Fendi on trend to be the highest sales day Skims has ever had. While Kim’s brand focuses its sales mostly online, the Skims x Fendi collab also became available in exclusive pop-up shops across the globe after its launch.

Much of the appeal of Kim’s brand, which launched in 2018, is its budget-friendly prices for customers to emulate Kim’s sleek style. The Skims x Fendi collaboration offered pieces at more upscale prices, ranging from $100 to $4,200. One piece Kim donned herself at a public appearance. Ahead of the launch, Kim sported a Skims x Fendi leather dress at the Wall Street Journal Magazine’s 2021 Innovator Awards, where the mogul was recognized for her achievements with Skims.

While Kim has plenty to celebrate with the success of Skims’ latest rollout, the reality star was noticeably absent from her social media platforms on Skims x Fendi launch day. Ahead of her brands’ successful launch, Kim issued a statement offering her condolences to the victims of the tragedy at the Astroworld Music Festival. It appears the Kardashian-Jenner family is laying low after the mass casualty incident at the concert hosted by Kylie Jenner’s boyfriend, Travis Scott. After Kylie faced backlash for an insensitive Instagram post of the concert, Kim may now be treading lightly on social media.
