Farming components and crafting go hand-in-hand in Monster Hunter Rise. One such component that is used in a wide variety of Monster Hunter Rise’s equipment is the Colossal Bone. However, confusing matters is that the Colossal Bone is sometimes referred to as Massive Bone in some versions of the game.
Colossal Bone can be found in a variety of Low and High Rank quests. These quests will be the best way for players to farm the material as only the Low Rank Goss Harag drops the material otherwise.
Since a wide variety of quests will reward the Colossal Bone, it’s possible to farm without monotony setting in. A little variety goes a long way in farming components as it keeps things from feeling too repetitive. Even better is that some Low Rank quests will drop the component, making it even easier to farm for players that have progressed to High Rank hunts.
When farming Colossal Bone or any other Monster Hunter crafting component, patience is the name of the game. It may take several hunts to get one component to drop. And if players are trying to craft multiple items, it may take longer than usual to harvest all the resources. Thankfully, with so many quests that reward this part, a nice stockpile may be acquired passively.
