The Blackbeard Pirates are some of the most fearsome in the world of One Piece, and these members are by far the strongest of them all!

The Blackbeard Pirates are a Yonko pirate grew led by Admiral Marshall D Teach. They hold great power in the New World, having usurped the power of the Whitebeard Pirates. Despite being a new pirate crew, the Blackbeard Pirates are feared by many pirate crews who have wondered into their territory. The crew is subdivided into 10 Titanic Captains who all work under Blackbeard’s command.
In addition to this, the Blackbeard Pirates have allies around the world, with crews such as the Pinkbeard Pirates and strong individuals like Aokiji. Blackbeard broke numerous level 6 Impel Down prisoners out and made them join his crew, meaning, they are all dangerous in their own right. There are the 10 strongest:
10 JESUS BURGESS
Jesus Burgess is a trusted commander in the Blackbeard pirates, having been a longtime admirer of Blackbeard. He is known as the “Champion” due to his impressive fighting skill.
Burgess is the helmsman of the Blackbeard Pirates and the current captain of the Blackbeard fleet’s first ship. Burgess is an overconfident muscle head who doesn’t hesitate to throw himself headfirst into danger. Burgess is capable of using Armament Haki and he combines this with his brutish fighting style to damage his opponents.
9 DOC Q
Doc Q rose to infamy when the World Government noticed he was going around handing out apples that contained bombs. Naturally, this resulted in a lot of casualties and a bounty was placed on his head.
Doc Q is the doctor of the Blackbeard Pirates and the current captain of the 9th ship in the fleet. Doc Q is referred to as the “Grim Reaper” due to his sickly nature and scythe wielding skills, being reminiscent of the god of death.
8 VASCO SHOT
Shot is the current captain of the eighth ship in Blackbeard’s fleet and is a former level 6 prisoner in Impel Down. Due to his alcoholic nature, Vasco Shot quickly developed a name for himself as a rowdy drunk. The marines soon caught wind of this and gave him the epithet “Heavy Drinker.”
Vasco Shot would go on to commit many crimes before he was caught and imprisoned. Since being released by Blackbeard, Shot has been drinking to his heart’s content, while dutifully carrying out Blackbeard’s grand scheme.
7 CATARINA DEVON
“Crescent Moon Hunter”, Catarina Devon, is one of history’s most infamous pirates. Her bloodlust has resulted in some of the sickest crimes in pirating history. Devon is a sick woman, known for beheading beautiful women and storing their heads on her ship. This led to the marines hunting her down and placing her in the most secure part of Impel Down.
She is currently the captain of the sixth ship in the Blackbeard Pirates’ fleet and, during her time with the crew, she’s consumed a mythical zoan fruit. This fruit gave her the ability to perfectly transform into clones of people, giving the Blackbeard Pirates a deadly weapon.
6 AVALO PIZARRO
If you’re known as the “Corrupt King”, the chances of you being a nice and humane person is extremely low. Avalo is a cruel man, known for his callous and terrible reign as a king, which saw his people go through many unnecessary hardships. This led to his people rising up and rebelling against him.
When they finally succeeded, Pizarro fled the country and committed to the life of piracy. He managed to make a name for himself as one of the world’s most barbaric pirates and, since meeting Blacbeard, his morals have become even more depraved.
5 VAN AUGUR
Van Augur is the Sniper of the Blackbeard Pirate crew and one of its original members. Much like Yasopp and Usopp, Auger is one of the most talented sniper’s around the world. Having also hailed from the East Blue, Auger has continued to grow and is currently the captain of the third ship in the Blackbeard fleet, where he usually serves as the crew’s eyes due to his incredible sight.
Auger is level headed and cooly disposes of his targets without ever seeming overly flustered by difficult tasks. Auger also strongly believes in allowing faith to take its course, which would go along way towards explaining his perpetually cool nature.
4 LAFITTE
Laffite is one of Blackbeard’s most trusted men, having formerly been sheriff in West Blue before being relieved of his duties due to his overly cruel methods. Lafitte is skilled at Hypnotism and this has often aided the Blackbeard crew in obtaining their goals.
Such instances are when his hypnosis allowed him to break into Mary Geoise and Impel Down, an impressive feat for any pirate crew. Lafitte is the current captain of the fifth ship and is the crew navigator. His great loyalty towards Blackbeard allows him to serve the crew to the best of his capabilities, which might not be true of other members.
3 SANJUAN WOLF
The “Colossal Battleship “, Sanjuan Wolf is the current captain of the seventh ship of the Blackbeard Pirates’ fleet. Having been a former prisoner in level 6 of Impel Down, Wolf can be regarded as an extremely dangerous pirate and his size means he can easily deal damage to whatever he pleases, when he pleases.

Wolf consumed a paramecia devil fruit, which gave him the ability to grow to a size larger than some giants. Wolf is known to be a bit of an airhead, but when it comes to a serious battle, his power can be depended on.
2 SHIRYU OF THE RAIN
After years of being the Head Jailer of Impel Down, Shiryu grew increasingly bored of his uneventful days at the prison. To spice things up, he diced to start personally torturing prisoners, as well as pitting them against each other in battles to the death. This made Shiryu happy but, eventually, the World Government caught wind of this and imprisoned Shiryu before removing his name from history.
After Blackbeard broke into Impel Down, Shiryu joined his crew and his abilities immediately landed him a spot amongst its strongest fighters. Shiryu is a dangerous swordsman without a code of honor and, after consuming the Clear-Clear Fruit, he is more dangerous than ever.
1 MARSHALL D TEACH
Admiral of the Blackbeard Pirates and easily its most dangerous member, Marshall D Teach is regarded by many to be the man that will go head to head with Luffy to decide who becomes the next Pirate King.
Teach is a patient and methodological pirate, who waited decades to on Whitebeard’s Ship just to get a chance to initiate his grand ‘Pirate King Plan’. Since gaining the first part of his plan (The Dark-Dark fruit), Blackbeard has gone on to wreak havoc and, with his two devil fruits, he will continue to be a thorn in the World Government’s side.
