Pokemon GO is feel quite generous after launching the Mega Raid system this month and has offered a handful of Remote Raid Passes up for the very low price of 1 PokeCoin in the game’s shop. Players hardly have to do any effort to earn 1 PokeCoin in the mobile AR game, which makes these Remote Raid Bundles basically free. Each bundle contains three of the items that allow players to participate in a Raid that is either within their Nearby radar or that a friend has invited them too, without actually being within the range of the battle’s Gym.

Remote Raid Passes are a very valuable item that makes raiding with friends who are across the country possible. Whether players are interested in the updated Mega Raid rewards or not, they can still easily put these items to good use battling the current Legendary or any other raid boss that they are interested in encountering. After the first bundle arrived in early September alongside the launch of Mega Raids, a second bundle followed shortly behind after some updates to the available rewards. Now it has been confirmed that the end of September is about to bring a third offering to Pokemon GO players, as well.

All players need to do to claim each bundle is head to the game’s Shop within the correct timeframe and trade in 1 PokeCoin for the three Remote Raid Passes. Keep in mind though that players will not be eligible to purchase one of the bundles unless they have fewer than three Remote Raid Passes in their inventory. That means that players cannot simply stock up on nine Remote Raid Passes and save them for the next Legendary rotation or some other special occasion. Players who want to get the full value and obtain all nine are going to have to spend them as they obtain them to make room for the next bundle…

“In addition to the Remote Raid Pass bundle made available on September 1, 2020,, we’re adding two additional limited-time bundles featuring three Remote Raid Passes you can pick up for 1 PokéCoin and in the shop! PoGO players should make sure they take the time to earn a few PokeCoins this week to pay for the basically free bundles. In most parts of the world, that still means placing a Pokemon in a Gym and having them stay there and defend it for a certain number of hours. Players can earn up to 50 PokeCoins per day this way. In the near future there should be alternative ways to earn PokeCoins that do not involve holding Gyms. Those changes are being tested in select regions and will hopefully roll out more widely in the coming months.

For now, Pokemon GO trainers should be able to head out into the world (or play from home) and continue catching the best Unova Pokemon in the game and getting closer to that complete Pokedex. Check back for more Pokemon GO updates closer to the event. Until then, good luck out there, trainers!

Pokemon GO is available now in select regions on Android and iOS devices.
