The cosmos-traveling Marvel Comics character the Silver Surfer has enthralled fans with his awesome power and unique design, but no piece of artwork of the character has come close to being as absolutely jaw-dropping as the recolored redesign of Tradd Moore’s Silver Surfer artwork. The comic book artist truly made the Silver Surfer their own in the comic series Silver Surfer: Black written by Donny Cates. Using Moore’s stunning interpretation of the character as a template, another artist gave the Silver Surfer a mind-blowing redesign that truly conveys the character’s oneness with the universe.

The Silver Surfer made his first appearance in Fantastic Four #48 by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby which told the story of the coming of Galactus. The Silver Surfer’s original name was Norrin Radd who was imbued with the Power Cosmic after he became Galactus’ Herald to save his home world from being consumed by the cosmic being. Being reminded of his home world when he scouted Earth as a potential food source for Galactus, he betrays his master and proves to be a true hero right up there with the rest across the Marvel mythos.

In a tweet by Jordan Kroeger Comic Artist Freelance Illustrator, the artist posted an original piece of artwork by Tradd Moore but with a stunning recolored design. The image depicts the Silver Surfer gliding through the cosmos with mind-bending colors and forms seemingly flowing through him. The feeling this design conveys is one of cosmic purity the Silver Surfer is experiencing, truly being one with the universe and allowing it to move through him as he travels through it.

I HAD to color another Tradd Moore Silver Surfer commission so here ya go. pic.twitter.com/CoqeiRnS83

The Silver Surfer is seemingly outside of time and space in the image, with the cosmos pictured in his surfboard with him standing on top and outside of it in a realm of interdimensional shapes and forms. This idea brought to life by the artist is exactly what was brought to the comics in Silver Surfer: Black. In that storyline, a black hole opens up and pulls in a number of heroes including the Silver Surfer, sending him outside of his current universe and through the abyss. The artwork by Moore and enhanced by Kroeger perfectly encapsulates that idea of someone being outside of the universe as it flows through them.

There are truly no words to describe this Silver Surfer artwork as it is something more than a literal image but something that must be experienced. It somehow perfectly captures the decades worth of Silver Surfer storytelling in one image. All-in-all, this piece of Silver Surfer artwork by Tradd Moore gets a recolored redesign that is absolutely jaw-dropping and should be seen by anyone who is, not just a Silver Surfer fan, but who is a fan of any form of amazing artwork.
