The world of South Park is filled with morbidly awful people and at least one morally ambiguous towel. Many people in town also know who not to cross, especially when it comes to Eric Cartman, but there is one person who learned this too late, and that’s Scott Tenorman.
Cartman is a 10-year-old who wreaks havoc on South Park and its residents. While he’s one of the main characters and helps the kids through tough situations, it’s usually with an ulterior motive. However, on more than one occasion, he’s straight up been the villain of the story.
Stan, Kyle and Kenny all learned their lessons about not completely trusting Carman many years ago. Even Butters, who is neither smart nor perceptive, knows that Cartman’s capable of almost anything. While most people know this, one person didn’t get the message, and it’s Scott, a manipulative ninth grader who played a prank on Cartman.
Not surprisingly, Cartman vowed revenge. For once, someone was one step ahead of Cartman, with Scott besting him at every turn. That was until Cartman invited Scott to face him in a chili cook off. Scott attempted to prank Cartman again, but Cartman had Scott’s parents killed, made them into chili and tricked Scott into eating them. Just to add insult to injury, Cartman arranged for Scott’s favorite band, Radiohead, to stop by and watch him cry.
In the life of a child who has committed many unspeakable acts, this one may reign as the worst of the worst, licking the tears from Scott’s face as he cried over the deaths of his parents and his unintentional cannibalism. What Cartman didn’t know was that his war with Scott was far from over. Tenorman would fade into the background, rarely to be seen, but that didn’t mean he had given up.
The course of action he chose was to find out who Eric’s real father was, then torment him with the information; however, the discovery infuriated Scott more. The truth was that Cartman’s father was a former player for the Denver Broncos, which made Cartman happy, but Scott also found out his dad was Cartman’s father as well.
This made the two half brothers, something a vast majority of South Park residents seemed to be aware of, so Cartman had his own father killed and fed his remains to his half sibling. The worst part was that Cartman was not bothered by any of this. The only reason he was upset was this meant he was half a redhead, and Cartman’s bigotry outweighed any guilt for his actions.
After failing to destroy Cartman, Scott jetpacked away, presumably to formulate his next plan of revenge. What all of this proved was that Scott still has yet to learn his lesson about Cartman, who now has Scott fully in his sights once again. Now, he has proven himself to be a threat to Cartman, something the dangerous fourth grader will not abide.
