Vanderpump Rules star Lala Kent is in no rush to get married to her fiancé Randall Emmett. The 31-year-old reality star’s romance began shortly after her introduction on the show. There were a lot of rumors that she was dating a married man. In order to keep Randall’s identity a secret at the time, Lala would only refer to him as “my man.” Throughout her second season on the hit Bravo show, Lala would frequently talk about her man paying for her travel on private jets and showed off the Range Rover he bought her to the rest of the cast. Since Lala refused to give more details on the man, the cast often accused her of trading sexual favors for these lavish gifts. But once Randall legally separated from his wife at the time, Lala introduced him to her cast and viewers alike, making their relationship official.

Lala was a late, but fierce addition to the popular reality show, making her debut in season 4. She didn’t exactly make the best impression with the cast, as her friendship with pot-stirrer James Kennedy was enough to start things off on the wrong foot. Lala also made it known that she was comfortable with her sexuality and would often go topless in front of other cast member’s boyfriends, which made Katie Maloney extremely upset, jealous and angry. Though Lala tends to frequently get wrapped up in the inevitable drama, the cast has come around to her endearing ways and have embraced her for who she is.

Though Lala and Randall got engaged back in September 2018, and have since had a baby girl together, they have yet to tie the knot. Lala told E! News that marriage seems like the next step in their lives, but she’s not rushing to that finish line yet. “I feel like we have a baby and we’re stuck together,” she joked, adding that they’ll likely get around to the actual ceremony in 2022. Lala added that the hold up on making things official actually has to do with COVID-19 pre-cautions. She believes in marriage, but wants to have the “big, grand celebration” that she’s always dreamt of, all while keeping her guests safe. “It’s not time sensitive,” Lala said. “Let’s get everyone feeling like they can come and enjoy themselves without worrying about their health and then we’ll make it happen.”

Lala recently posted a throwback picture of her wedding gown at one of her dress fittings. In the caption, Lala revealed she was supposed to wed her fiancé on April 18, 2020. Her stunning dress was custom designed with a “Dad” written inside of a heart on her veil. Three days after the photo was taken, the nation went into lockdown from the global pandemic. Lala said she decided to post the gown because she’s no longer going to wear it on her big day, but it was too gorgeous to not have its moment.

Though successful two-year engagements are rare and far between, it’s understandable that Lala wants to wait until the world is back to normal before she has her big day. Lala deserves a moment full of love, rather than fear of the virus spreading. The question is, when the day does come around, will she allow Bravo’s cameras to record all of her Bridezilla moments for Vanderpump Rules?
