With ‘X-Men: Days of Future Past’ now on video, we look back at the entirety of the X-Men movies – and all the mutant characters created for the films.
You Are Reading :[thien_display_title]
At the time of this writing, the X-Men movie franchise includes seven films, spans fourteen years, and includes over a hundred characters from the vast and ever-growing Marvel database. Of those characters appearing onscreen, 64 of them are mutants; some were pulled directly from the pages of the popular comics, some were merely inspired by their comic counterparts, while others were created specifically for the X-Men movie (or TV) universe.
We’ve gone through all seven X-Men films and compiled an exhaustive list of every mutant who has made an appearance in the last fourteen years – whether it be a main role, secondary role or as a background character. They’re all here, listed in alphabetical order. Remember, the descriptions listed are for the character’s role in the MOVIE UNIVERSE and not the COMIC UNIVERSE, so there will be some variations in the canon with which you might already be familiar.
Take a look and see if there are any you missed while watching – and in case it isn’t already assumed, this post will contain MASSIVE SPOILERS…
